As you will recall, in August 2007, I originally wrote a letter to many Garzotto families in Vicenza.  Some of the responses that I received stated that their families were from Lugo Di Vicenza.  This prompted me to search the Latter Day Saints files (LDS) for Lugo Di Vicenza.  I have searched birth, marriage, and death records for the years between 1806 thru 1815 and 1871 thru 1897.  There were no Garzotto births or deaths.  There were only 4 records of marriage.  In all of these cases,  the Garzotto (whether bride or groom) was both born and living in Lusciana.  Their marriage was to a person living in Lugo Di Vicenza.  Therefore, it would appear that prior to 1900, there were no Garzotto families in Lugo Di Vicenza.

One benefit of the Lugo Di Vicenza files is that they extend into later years than the LDS files for Lusciana.  It should be noted, that on this website, they are listed in both the Lusciana records and in the Lugo Di Vicenza records.
